Forest Land Assessment Our foresters will personally inspect your entire property to determine the overall potential of the land including trees, soil, water, wildlife and recreation opportunities. Wildlife Management Several of our foresters have degrees in wildlife management as well as forestry, and have the expertise to develop management plans that focus on optimizing wildlife habitat. Timber Trespass Resolution Our Certified Forestry staff has helped landowners recoup some or all of their financial loss after they have been victimized by timber theft. We investigate the value and volume of stolen trees as well as other material facts pertinent to the prosecution of perpetrators. Water Shed Management Our staff works with local municipalities in the management of the natural resources of natural drainage basins for the production and protection of water supplies and water based resources. Forest Tax Laws There are opportunities available for forest landowners to receive tax breaks and/or receive federal funding if certain requirements are met. We work with landowners in developing management plans that are specific to these programs. Forest Road Layout and Design Our foresters have designed, built, and overseen hundreds of miles of road and trail construction. Best Management Practices are followed to avoid soil erosion and increase aesthetics. Periodic Forest Assessment We conduct inspections on many of our clients land periodically to update management plans and to assure that the goals of our clients are being achieved. Boundary Line Maintenance and Posting Our foresters utilize the latest technology in the identification, posting, and maintenance of boundary lines. Preparation of and Administration of Timber Sales Our forestry staff will mark and inventory trees being offered for sale. A sales prospectus will be prepared from field data, bids solicited from mass mailings, internet advertising, as well as personal contacts. Contracts are then prepared and supervision of harvesting is included as part of our overall package of service.
