the land including trees, soil, water, wildlife and
recreation opportunities.
Purchase of Standing Timber &
Supervised Logging Operations by Certified Foresters
– Our Foresters are Certified by the Society of American
Foresters and have over 80 years combined experience
supervising all aspects of forestry operations. Our
timber harvesting contractors are independently
certified by New York Logger Training.
Wildlife Management
– Several of our foresters have degrees in
wildlife management as well as forestry, and have the
expertise to develop management plans that focus on
optimizing wildlife habitat.
Water
Shed Management – Our staff works with
local municipalities in the management of the natural
resources of natural drainage basins for the production
and protection of water supplies and water based
resources.
Forest
Road Layout and Design – Our foresters
have designed, built, and overseen hundreds of miles of
road and trail construction. Best Management Practices
are followed to avoid soil erosion and increase
aesthetics.
Periodic
Forest Assessment – We conduct
inspections on many of our client’s land periodically to
update management plans and to assure that the goals of
our clients are being achieved.
